Fertility acupuncture for men, too
Fertility struggles aren't only a female issue, around half involve a male factor, yet men are far less often the ones asking for help. Acupuncture can support sperm count, movement and shape, and improve blood flow to the reproductive organs, all things that respond to lifestyle and treatment changes over roughly a three-month window, the time it actually takes new sperm to develop.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, male fertility is closely linked to what's called Kidney Essence, or Jing, a way of describing your body's deep reserves of vitality. Acupuncture and, where appropriate, herbal medicine work to support that reserve, alongside practical guidance on stress, sleep and heat exposure (tight clothing, laptops on the lap, hot baths) that can all affect sperm quality.
